On 29th November, Splento Head Office in London played host to what can only be described as a unique collection of fabulous moustaches, in aid of the Movember Foundation.
Yes – this was the result of Splento’s fund-raiser for Movember 2019 and we have to say it was a great success. A fine selection of moustaches was paraded through our office and photographed with not a single hair out of place.
The idea for the fund-raiser came from Splento’s CEO Roman Grigoriev, when he decided to sprout his own facial growth for Movember this year. He offered anyone else doing the same the opportunity to come to the Splento office and have a free premium portrait photograph, in exchange for donating to the charity.
Roman said “At Splento we work with and support lots of amazing charities all over the world, and one of those charities is the Movember Foundation”.
He added “We hope that this will raise additional awareness of the Foundation and its cause”.
There were around 30 people in attendance on the day, which so far has raised £400 for the men’s health charity.
We would like to thank everyone who came along and took part – it was a great day for a great cause!
The Movember Foundation’s aim is to change the face of men’s health, by tackling prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and men’s suicide. If you would like to make a donation to this year’s Movember campaign, then there is still time. You can contact Splento on 0208-123-1838 for details of how to do this.
And the collective noun for moustaches?
I haven’t managed to find one yet, but I would humbly like to suggest that A Trim of Moustaches has potential.
Suggestions are welcome, so if you have a good one, please get in touch!
