Splento’s COVID-19 safety measures An overview of our customer interactions


Along with most businesses that come into contact with their customers, Splento has carefully considered the potential health implications and impact of the current COVID-19 outbreak.

We continue to work and to fulfil our bookings, within current guidelines and restrictions as they vary from time to time. Many projects can be handled remotely, for example, whilst others may be completed as and when circumstances allow. Be reassured that we have adjusted our practices to include all measures required to mitigate the spread of the disease.

This is to protect both our customers and our colleagues.

We have made all necessary adjustments in line with the current government and public health advice and continue to monitor their guidelines. As such, our policies and working methods are, and will remain, subject to change, as circumstances and government advice changes.

In as much as we are doing all we can to minimise risk and any potential transmission, please understand that these measures are necessary for both parties to follow – us and our customers.

With that in mind, we do require a few simple rules to be followed at any booking we or any of our professionals attend.

We trust that you will see the sense of these arrangements and join with us in doing all we can to protect everyone involved.

Before your booking

We want you to get the most out of your booking, but our paramount concern has to be for the safety of everyone present.

Before the day of the booking, please contact Splento and confirm the following information. This will greatly help us plan a safe and effective photo/video session for all involved.

    • What is the size of the area where the session will take place? If not sure, please provide a detailed description or images where possible.
    • How is the area ventilated and sanitised?
    • How many people will be present? Please advise us who they are.


On the day of your booking

If you or anyone who is planning to attend have potential Covid symptoms, such as cough/sneezing/raised temperature, or feels generally unwell then they must not attend the booking. Please notify Splento immediately if this will affect the booking in any way.


During your booking

All our professionals have strict guidelines to follow at all times during the booking.

They will be wearing a mask, will carry and use hand sanitiser and will observe all social distancing requirements, following the current government guidelines.

It would be useful if there is an area available for them to wash their hands from time to time in the event of a longer session.

In return, we require that everyone present for the booking also wears a mask at all times, unless in a photograph or video shoot. Once the photo taking or video clip has ended, masks must be replaced immediately.

Please note that upon the arrival of our professional, if anyone present is not wearing a mask, then this will count as a cancellation at the door. As such, this is non-refundable, and your professional photographer/videographer has instructions to leave under these circumstances.

We will ask you to confirm your understanding of this arrangement before the booking.
