They say, ‘You have one chance to make a good first impression’, well, with my ill-fitting people-repeller Movember moustache, I had to cut down on in-person meetings and take as many meetings this month by phone as I could, to have a fighting chance of leaving a good first impression on at least some people.
1) ZOOM / Recent Update:
It’s Movember and we are supporting the Movember Foundation, whose aim is to change the face of men’s health, by tackling prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and men’s suicide, by offering a free Premium Photo Session (worth £199 each) for anyone sporting a moustache for the charity.
So shave the date!
Just send us a screenshot of the confirmation of your donation the Movember Foundation or any other men’s health related charity, to firstname.lastname@example.org and pop over to our office at 20 Air Street for a free headshot on Friday, 29 November.
This is what you’ll get as a thank you from us for supporting such a great cause (but of course with a much prettier face – yours!): splen.to/movember19
So what? The proof is in the pudding – visual content is one of the best ways to raise awareness of anything you are doing!
2) FOCUS / Looking Ahead:
Apparently, it’s International Men’s Day today. Seriously! Look up on Wikipedia. So after we’ve completed our hugely busy working day – I’ll have a few Cosmopolitans and Malibus with my manly team to celebrate.
So what? Have fun!
3) EXPOSURE / Ask:
Please forward this message to any Movember supporting friend of yours and get them over to our HQ for a few amazing headshots.
Also, if you want to hold a Movember party at your office – just hire (https://www.splento.com/splento-movember) our photographer for an hour or a day and let them immortalise all the facial hair your colleagues have grown over these weeks.
So what? Don’t let all this tache go to trash!
See you on Friday the 29 November!
