The CogX Festival of All Things AI is one of the most important AI events in Europe. CogX explores AI interaction with emerging technologies including the future of transportation, health and education. Attracting over 4 000 attendees from around the world and over 300 market-leading speakers from such companies as Google, Intel, NASA, Lloyds Bank, TFL and many others, CogX 2018 (11-12 June, London) featured an expanded agenda discussing the impact of AI on industry, government and society, as well as how to get from lab to live and to deploy AI responsibly and ethically. Moreover, the CogX 2018 Annual Awards revealed its winners among products and technologies across all the key industries. The real highlight of the event was Sophia - Hanson Robotics’ famous artificially intelligent robot woman. She visited the event together with no less popular David Hanson, Founder of Hanson Robotics and her creator. Being still on the early stages of its life cycle, AI has the huge potential to transform everything.
Full professional photography service was required for the whole event, including awards ceremony, highlights, VIP speakers and Media Wall coverage for PR and marketing purposes in order to increase awareness about the event and drive social media engagement. CogX PR team needed high-quality content which could be used across their online and offline communication channels. Splento was contracted to capture the atmosphere of the CogX Festival 2018 overall by photographing the stages and VIP areas. Other objectives involved special attention to sponsorship and providing high-quality photo content for sharing online during the event.
Splento provided full professional CogX photography service, focusing on its most important moments and those amaizing feelings that participants got from coming to the event. In order to provide CogX with the high quality results, ten our photographers were involved on the first day and 14 photographers were involved on the second day. Splento took thousands of images during the event, the majority of which were carefully selected and edited by our experts. They were then uploaded to 15 individual online galleries, created for CogX, to give their marketing and PR teams the freedom to view, download and use photos as they needed. In an effort to increase attendee engagement, we also provided ‘Live Images' and created easily accessible online galleries to encourage attendees to share the photos online as the event was taking place.
Thanks to the high quality photography service offered by Splento and exclusive Live Images feature, CogXevent organisers were able to increase their online and offline engagement during and after the event. All photos produced by Splento for CogX were accessible to attendees and press during the event and their PR and marketing teams used them across multiple communication channels. That helped to increase CogX 2018 awareness, its online and attendee engagement, in addition to keeping memories of the event and improving customer experience.
